I met Ana when she was 12 years old.
Her sister and I were friends in high school, and I spent time at church with Ana's family. Our parents are also good friends. One time, we were doing an art lesson with some children together. I painted an extra flower, and gave it to Ana.
Fast forward to her engagement, and she reached out to inquire about a photography session. I was immediately thrilled to work with her, and to meet her wonderful Fiancee. Sure enough, Noah was a delight - exactly the kind of man I always envisioned Ana with. During our session, they blew me away with their beauty. I felt like the photos practically took themselves, every image turning into art. And speaking of art, Ana ended up sharing that she still had possession of the flower I painted her as a teenager. Years later, she still loves what I create. What a beautiful, full circle moment for us.
I must give a shoutout to the North Carolina Museum of Art for their gorgeous property. And for making it free to the public, as well.
Overall, this day was amazing. I would gladly work with Ana and Noah again. You truly cannot put a price on engagement photos, or an amazing client.
